2023 Grand Nationals Truck Show
The inaugural Grand National Truck Show kicked off this year at the Fairplex in Pomona, California. While the Grand National name has been known since 1949 to be one of the best car shows in the country, it was not until this year that organizers decided to split it into two from the historic Grand National Roadster Show and give classic trucks their own weekend.

While some shows in their first year have bumps or rocky starts, the crew at Rod Shows that put on the Grand National Roadster Show had the Grand National Truck Show firing on all cylinders. From the flow and setup of the trucks to the vendors and food along the outskirts, no detail was left unattended.
In Southern California, we get to see classic cars and trucks fairly often, but to catch some of the world’s best all in one place was a sight to be seen. We can’t wait until next year to head down to Pomona and see what year two brings.

Our classic cars require several different fluids to keep them in running order. However, the containers they come in don’t always make pouring a little more fluid an easy task. Adding brake fluid, automatic transmission fluid, power steering fluid, etc… can be a tricky situation on many classic cars, often resulting in the cleanup of spilled fluids. Fortunately the task of pouring fluids can b...

Переглядів 3537 місяців тому
We’ve all been there, you’re assembling a project when suddenly you discover the thread inside the hole you are trying to insert the bolt into is either clogged with paint and debris or worse yet has been damaged. Naturally the best solution is to chase the threads with a tap, but sometimes you just don’t have a tap the right size and thread pitch to get the job done. But all is not lost and if...

CRAP VIDEO YOU SAID NOTHING ABOUT HOW TO FIX!
thanks
How do you unstick it if it does get stuck? Mine is stuck to the front after changing calipers
HI what do you do when the bolt doesn't come loose with a hammer it only gets damaged.
Use a 4lb hammer
will lacquer thinner do the same as the fiberglass resin? or at least soften it to use?
Put on the nut then make the flare. Put on the nut then make the flare. Put on the nut then make the flare.
Yesss ... this stuff Works and gives a Good finish.
Hint. If like me you’re working on your back on a creeper with the vehicle on jack stands, working on an independent suspension. Use a bottle jack and jack the lower control arm up so the tie rod isn’t hanging down then the tool slides right in.
~
That car in the background!! Beautiful!
How it actually works!! Finally a good video. I had to watch five crappy videos before I get to this good one. Why does UA-cam put shit videos to the front I don’t understand these people. You just make life a little more miserable UA-cam…🤬
From previous experience i would go to the junk yard, one is the jacks out of cars are better quality than those out of stores and the price i gave 10 bucks for the last scissor jack at my local junkyard
The most useless video on UA-cam how to clean your respirator then doesn’t show anyone how to clean it here I’ll get a video how to fly a spaceship fly spaceship there you go folks
on point everything important said!
My biggest worry would be shredding the threading on the scissor jack
oooh, just what I needed. Thanks for that tip.
In manner of seconds 🤔 without car 🤷🏻♂️
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Put the locks at the underside of how the wires will lie, and it will look way better.❤
Is this not also a pattern recognition issue?
I am thinking about painting the trays of the oil pan with weld thru primer. What do you think? Can the primer be under oil?
Sos pads works best,trust me
Yeah I'm struggling with one right now and I do appreciate your help I understand now
Perfect solution! Many thanks from Aus💯🏅
Big mitts in the way
Awesome work. This is how the workshop manual says to replace the boot
Thank you! So simple it's hard. ;)
After just watching another video of using the old scissor jack, the guy showed an adapter that bolts on the end that lets you use a 21mm socket and your impact gun. I ordered a scissor jack and this adapter from Amazon. Should make rotating tires a lot faster.
However, that scissor jack to 21 mm socket or 1/2 inch drive adaptor takes say 1 minute to fasten to the scissor jack. On the other hand, a simple 1" socket to a motorized impact wrench is much simpler and faster.
Heisenberg...nice job
How can I get a catalog for Chevy impala 1960 thanks very much
I’m a restoration specialist and use a sodering iron, not a gun type but cheap iron and makes perfect holes!
Good idea you know.
You are a true mechanic. Your work will definitely show your qualification and your authentic. Customers will always trust your work!
Never thought of this method. Thanks for sharing, love it! Extremely helpful
Glad it was helpful!
After removing the metering valve for disc/disc and plugging it, will I 100% for certain need an adjustable metering valve in line with the rear brakes? Or might I be ok as is? Thanks!!!
Hey do you use honey in your filler if you are skimming a roof panel? I am using Rage ultra with a long spreader sanding with 80. Should i just start with 40 grit? Taking forever even with the 32`` linear blocks
4 year old video and this is just what I was looking for
How do you re-install it? Seems like you would just have to hammer away and hope it was lined up exactly right - if not everything's ruined?

I tie mine with baling wire. I like your deal, but getting the whole set on there from 6mm to 19mm not so likely. Maybe 2 hitch pins.then for vehicles with a mix of metric and inch hardware like my Baja Bug, you need that many more. I get one type in as forged rough surface wrenches and the other in polished wrenches to define which are which.
🎉
Thanks for the vid! Very helpful. Question... does the "self-etching" primmer work on aluminum as well as steel??

I have found woodstove paint work very good.
